I don't even know what to say, right now. I don't know what to feel. I just- [she glances down and swallows, then looks at the monitor again ; a thousand emotions are fighting to get out, but she's somehow holding it together] It's like waking up from the most vivid bad dream to find out I wasn't actually asleep. I don't know what's going on. I don't know where you are. But I know you're alive. [she shrugs] I just do. [she takes a breath] You have to be. Because you got me pregnant, you ass. And, if you were here, right now, you'd be grinning brighter than the damn sun. [she starts to smile but it immediately shifts and her breath hitches] So, you better turn up.
